I got so much info thrown at me today I forgot to ask.

AB probably stands for antiboitics, KET some kind of test done?

The last part is antibiotics for a uti from my last appointment. X

Is the last bit been on Anti botics ( sorry if that's bad spelling) ?

leuk is for leukocytes
were they testing to see if u still had a uti?
ket is for ketones which is to do with blood sugar

A ket - means ketones test is to do with testing for diabetes I believe.

ha ha i did medical science in uni!---admittedly several years ago
so would be a crying shame if couldnt read it!
and a waste of several years of tuition fees!

Aw thanks Hun you are an angel.
I am high risk for diabetes as my mum has it. I have my gtt in a few weeks. And it's looking like my uti is still there this little monkey is really causing mummy alot of trouble x

Wss, my urine often shows leukocytes and ketones too, have they sent off a sample to check for infection? Can often be a sign xxxx

Yes they have sent it to the lab x

That's good hopefully it clears up for you soon! Mine also shows protein and blood but apparently no infection :S xxxx

Thanks poll xxx
Cos I swear I feel like a 90 year old lol
The consultant informed me I will be on a drip for my entire labour along with another drip afterwards to help my womb shrink and minimise bleeding. I am now on a healthy eating plan as they think I have a high chance of diabetes and got given more vitamins along with the 3 iron and tablets for my bp rattling! I feel like that fella off Harry Enfield I'm considerably sicker then YOU!!!! Pmsl x

Argh it's so annoying!!!
Drips are shit, what a bummer.
I don't want to take these tablets, I have no symptoms but I bloody will do if you are to believe what is written on the box!!! x

Will ya grow a willy?
You could be my bit on the side lol x
