I have a job interview on tuesday what i wanted to know is that i get income support but i can't go full time in to a job i can only workin 16 hours at a push as i only have my mum for childcare.....if i work 16hours wil my income support be deducted ?

How much i am likely to lose a week?

as at this moment i have £5 extra a week for myself after payin all my bills and stuff

I think if you work 16 hours a week you get it made up with working tax credit instead of claiming IS? which if i remember makes you slightly better off a week but I dont remember the details.

I was going to say if you're a single parent and you work 16 hours a week you'll get tax credits to make it all up and they pay some childcare if she went with a minder or a nursery.

hey hun u will go on to working tax credits, thats wot im on and for me it is very worth it but u have to do at least 16 hours a week

the only problem i have is i get housing benefit cos i'm on income support.... so if i lose my income support cos i am workin i wil lost my flat :?
