Caffeine headaches

When cuttin out caffeine,how long do they last? I still need to have at least 1 mug of coffee a day to prevent the headaches but I'm rapidly goin off hot drinks and am havin to force it down me. I'm sat lookin at a mug now but it's makin me feel sick but I've got a killer headache from goin without yesterday. How long do these headaches last? Is it worth perserverin with the pain? xxx

not sure if they go that easily? my mother gets them really bad, so she just doesnt give up anything lol but i know what you mean if youre going off hot drinks, just try and drink plenty of water and the odd paracetamol to help with the headaches, they should go i would of thought! x

lol i just found that pic, that was on my 18th birthday! since then i have cut all my hair off and dyed it dark lol. so in all fairness, i dont look like that at all now, but thought id put it up as an aim to get back to after ive had baby! lol!

In reguards to coffee, just keep chugging! lol xxx

Huh, Mine went away when I got pregnant. I had them soooo often before hand (and that was still with least 2 cups a day) It was awful, Especially when they start hitting migraine level in pain! I did cut out caffiene all together for a month.. Worse thing I ever did. I didnt get any sleep, i couldnt do anything all day and they didnt ease up, so I went back to coffee.

Since ive been pregnant, Ive had a couple headaches, but didnt seem to be caffiene related, and im only having maybe 2-3 cups a week!

I think you have to pick a path and stick to it, Cutting down still tops up the caffiene need.. so the headaches will carry on. Cold turkey, or keep with the caffiene i think I know how much they suck though.

ETA - Try Chocolate! Especially dark, it has caffiene but no where near as much, it might be enough to quell the headache!

I had them terrible up to about twenty weeks but they have gone now.

I bought them straighteners you recommended btw Emma, they are ace

I've had mine over a year now and still goin strong...def as good as ghds,and such a better price. Which colour did u get? Mine r gold wiv diamonds xx

Emma mine took only a week, but when I sneek back and have a cup of caff tea etc, I do get them again, so worth switching to caff free and then don't look back.

My skin has been pants for years, and always got worse in prnegnancy including the one dec to march that I lost, (so I know my skin has not changed with age), and this time cutting caffine out, my skin is great! , loving it, and will never go back to caff now!

just plain black ones, was going to get the purples but changed my mind, my hairdresser uses them too
