Does anyone have any advice when it comes to buying bras for pregnancy? I am literally popping out of my normal ones and I'm sure they're not doing me any good. However, I don't want to rush out and buy a whole new set if I'm just going to get bigger still...should I buy one with some room to grow?? And should I get a nursing bra or just stick with normal ones?

If anyone has any ideas then I'd love to hear - I HATE underwear shopping anyway!!

I think when I get round to buying new bras, especially when going to continue growing I'm just going to buy cheap ones from primark or somewhere.

I invested in 2 sleep bras and 1 nursing bra.

In respects to fitting I went to Mothercare and she said I was a 44D, I was a 38G before I started to grow so imagine my surprise!!

I managed to get a 40G and that fits perfectly and holds the boulders quite well :)

I would go and get measured and then try a couple on, I only went for nursiong bra's because I know when bubba arrives I won't be able to afford to buy a new one :)

I went to a local independent underwear shop they had plenty of time to advise me and i tried on loads of bras. I only bought one as it was a bit pricey but then i bought 3 others on ebay brand new that fit lovely and for less than a £15 including postage from 2 different sellers. As maternity bras tend to be on the stretchy side with room to grow i was not to worried about them not fitting. As long as the under bust part is the right size i felt i could not go wrong and i didn't.

I have bought some bras recently because my old ones were getting uncomfortable. I've gone all out for comfort. I got a 2 pack from M&S of maternity bras, they aren't the prettiest of things but they are very comfortable and I like wearing them. I think they cost me £30 for the 2.

I'm glad you've asked this because i've been thinking about buying new bras too! I normally have to get mine from Bravissimo but they're so pricey. I also love my underwires and don't intend to be in soft cups after i've finished feeding! I had a look on Ebay and they've got some that are very reasonably priced. they accept returns too so if they do feel a bit small still I know I can send them back :)

I got conflicting advice about underwires as the books I read said not to wear them but my midwife said it was fine - she just said towards the end I might want to wear soft cups as the underwire can get uncomfortable when you bump gets big and pushes it up! I have a few different bras and it doesn't matter which one I'm wearing (underwired, soft cup, maternity) by 8pm at night I've normally ripped it off and just let the puppies go free!!! Does anyone else feel like this at the end of the day??!!

Mine aren't uncomfortable, but I'm literally popping out so I'm going to have to go shopping I think! I hate bra shopping, nothing ever fits! xxxx

im due to get some new bras anyway, so might wait until im literally falling out!

i can never find any to fit though, im normally a 36GG, so god knows whats going to happen later on!
