Nicola's Labour Thread!!
It's happening!!
Nicola text me at 1.15pm today....
She's in hospital, she went in with her contractions at 5am and was 2cm dilated. She got moved to the ward at 9am and is just waiting for a bed on the labour suite so she can get on the hormone drip and in her words...."get this baby out!!"
Will keep you all updated!!

Nicola has just text me again....
"I'm having the hormone drip so i've just had an epi"
here's hoping bubs isn't too much longer!!

UPDATE 2...........
She's here!!!
Nicola text me, and her wee baby girl was born at 12.20am weighing 8lb 6.5oz!!

UPDATE 3..........
Nicola's very glad bubs is here, here's what she said "especially after 3 days of messing around and on and off contractions since my waters broke. I think I was only in established labour about 6 hours!"
She's hoping to get home tomorrow!!
Here's a pic of wee Alicia Grace at almost 12 hours old........

"Just a quick update, we're still in hospital and they finally got results from my swabs on sunday and confirmed i'm group b strep positive, Alicia is now on iv antibiotics and has had some blood taken to see if she has got it, i'll find out tomorrow the results"
heres hoping the results go well
