Ladies thank you so much. Sorry it's taken a lifetime to reply!!

Ella Siena is perfect in every way !

So Sunday after niggles all day I went to bed at 10pm, had 2 hours sleep and woke up with intense pains at midnight. Woke OH up and asking him to blow the air bed up downstairs because I was having the need for a poo constantly. Before the air bed was even blown up the pains were coming every 4 minutes, I called my MW and she said to take a paracetamol and have a bath. Did that, popped my hypnobithing music on in the bath stayed in there for an hour (popping out at about every 3rd contraction to be sick and poo, yes at the same time the glamour haha) by this point they were coming 2-3 minutes apart & really intense.

OH finally got through to the ward there they said there was no beds but they were happy to give me a look over, had a check and when I got there at about 3.20am I was 9CM!!!!! Couldn't believe I'd stayed at home that long. I got moved to a room with a pool at about 4am and used Gas & air through my contractions - for some reason I got out to push and before I knew it Ella Siena was here at 7.55am weighting 8lb8 which was not expected!!!!

I just wanted to say all my life I've been told to fear labour and there's really no need, trust your body and trust yourself. You get the best reward at the end!

We've had to stay in tonight because my pulse is really high, had an ECG which came back clear & im not loosing too much blood so they think it must just be taking me a while to get hydrated. I did get second degree tear but honestly even that's not that that bad, didn't realise at the time and they numb you for the stitches! Just takes one look at my Ella to realise none of that matters, she's here, safe and bloody beautiful if I do say so myself haha!

Thanks for all being amazing - September mummies I will pop on as much as I can when jve caught up on some sleep.

Xxx
