Iv just been browsing the pics section & noticed on the bath pics no one seems to use bubble bath.... should I not be using it? am I the only one ?!

i use the johnsons night one with lavender for matthew he's had it in the bath from a few weeks and he's ok think though sometimes all the splashing destroys the bubbles

I was told not to use it as its bad for the new borns skin. It can dry the skin out. But I have started to use a tiny bit now.

i always use it, usually johnsons but if i run out i use any. i like the lavender festful sleep one the most :)

We cant use any cos of alex's excema. i use a drop of johnsons extra care on his hair though. i still buy it though as i love it - it smells so nice and the smell reminds me of alex when he's not around me

i can't use it coz of ewan's exzema either, we use aveeno bath oil.
and i use a small amount of johnsions on his hair.

Alot of people say just to use water only till 2 yrs old - as their skin's so delicate.

I can't resist using a little to make him smell nice.

I am terribly envious of kiddies having bubble baths, but I have chosen not to use any of the commercial bubbles on Oscar. I don't have a good enough reason, apart from it drying the skin of natural oils. I actually don't use anything on Oscar. A little organic baby wash from time to time.

I would love to find a natural aromatherapy type bubble bath for him. Have you seen the pic of Davinas' little boy Liam? He's covered in bubbles - Davina uses the picture at the bottom of her posts. Too gorgeous!

I think bubbles are great fun, but will wait a wee bit first.
