Brown marks on my belly

I'm starting to get brownish patches of skin on my stomach... Is it a pregnancy thing?

At first I thought it was a chocolate smudge lol but it won't come off

I think it is known as 'Chloasma'. I have some on my face which has got worse with the sun and my pregnancy. It is sometimes called 'the mask of pregnancy' though not heard of it so much on bellies. Have you exposed your tum to the sun lately?

Hmmm. Is it patches or the start of the line? I didn't get that til a lot later on last time.

No it's right up the top of my abdomen, front and center nor far from my boobs, its right next to an old surgical scar
