Hi all,
Lovely topic, basically I have brown discharge. Started yesterday, just a few spots. Been more off it today. Still brown. I've worn a pad today, just in case. Don't think there's a lot but I don't usually wear pads so hard to tell. Every time I go to check I'm just expecting bright red :-( I'm estimated 5+2
Anyone else? X

I had this throughout both my pregnancies, it can be very normal x

I had this with one healthy pregnancy and with my loss. It is definitely normal - in my experience if it gets heavier and turns red, that can be a bad sign. But if it tapers off it’s generally nothing to worry about. Regardless, I’d get a blood test if you can to see where your hcg is right now, to put your mind at ease.

Thank you, have to wait till Monday for a doctors appointment. Hopefully trying not to stress over the weekend. X

Yep getting this now and had it for 4 days it’s only a teeny amount. I rang the Early pregnancy unit who said it’s normal. I was mortified when I saw it but it hasn’t got any worse and it’s not red.
I’m 5+4
Try not to worry :-)

Same, for a few days. But it could be a number of things and the midwife really reassured me. I have very achey hips too, it’s not constant, but a lot of my symptoms are normal pregnancy ones she said :-) once you get used to seeing the bits of brown discharge it becomes a bit normal. Lots and lots of women get it my midwife said :-)

There were quite a lot of brown discharge for me today after a long wal :-( freaked me out!
I rang the early pregnancy unit who said not to worry and ring back if it turns red accompanied with pain.
It’s not changed coloured and I have no pain, just feeling a bit rubbish

It's scary isn't it. Friday I had it all day, Saturday I had nothing at all. So was so relieved. But now it's back again:-( I'm just constantly checking for red. Hope your ok x

I’m the same :-( it’s worrying even tho a midwife has told me not to worry. It’s just a waiting game isn’t it x

Trying not to worry and trying to relax become even harder for trying! The more you try the harder it is.
