Brown discharge?

Has anyone experienced this?

I've only had a little bit around 2 hours ago and since there is just tiny little specks on my pad. No pain or anything. Me and my OH attempted sex yesterday but was so uncomfortable I had to stop, not sure if that's the cause. I'm 9+2, had an early scan at 7+4. Not sure whether I need to go in or not.

I had pink discharge at 6 weeks and was nothing to worry about and they told me to not come in unless it was like a period xx

It's quite possible that it's from yesterday as brown blood is old blood.

Bleeding or spotting in pregnancy is considered common but not normal so I would maybe just give EPU a quick ring for advice.

I'm sure everything is fine though hun.

Thanks Emily! We went up and baby is fine. Small bleed but not from baby. She said I'll either continue spotting or it'll be absorbed into my body xx
