So this weather has got me thinking about what we should be planning on putting LO in for coming home from hospital. Not due for another 4 weeks but last baby was born in feb so very different weather! so far I've packed vests, sleepsuit, hat and scratch mittens. Would you say cardigan or blanket? Both or neither? I feel so clueless!!

My lb was born on the 26th June last year he wore a sleepsuit, no vest, thin cardigan and a hat. No blanket xx

I have packed a couple of different options, sleepsuits and long sleeve an short sleeve vests - Inthink it'll be hard to know what to put him in until the day you bring them home, British weather is very changeable! I won't be taking cardigans or anything like that just a couple of blankets incase it's chilly.

xx

I brought my newborn home on Saturday and he just had a nappy and a long sleeved vest on as the midwives said it was far too hot for anything else.

I'm due next week, and packed vests , sleep suit and cardigan though if its still like this when I have her she won't be in a cardi.

Thanks everyone!

Congratulations Lillie - hope you are all doing well xx

I bought my June baby home in a sleepsuit and hat, no blanket. I bought my August baby home in a vest, light blanket and hat. Both boys run at higher temps than average like both me and hubby so we tend to dress them in less than the average child
