Yep a sneeky 3rd tri post :D

Do any of you ladies know of an on-line breathing teck for during labour?

Explainations of them?

I've never been to a anti-natal class, and was a bugger for holding my breath during each contraction as that came natural to me.

Wierd request but ah well :D

sorry I don't know

Could you not sign up for classes now?

I'm doing a full day one when I will be 35 weeks!

Talk about last minute preparation :rotfl:

I have one 2 hour session when I'm 34 weeks........and its evening, which means I won't be paying attention cos I'll be shattered!

I'll keep an eye on this post in case anyone finds anything, and will let you know if I see anything on my travels around the t'internet

Sorry....not very helpful at all there :?

I know what you mean about holding your breath during contractions, must just be a natural instinct!

The midwives will show you how to breathe anyhow!

At aquanatal the m/w got us blowing ping pong balls across the pool to each other sure it isn't as easy as that though

i always liked this one

re(breathing in really deeply so all you lungs are full) lllaaaaaaaxxxxxxxxxx out really slowly but as you do relax your shoulders and rest of body. it always stuck in my head.
