Breastfeeding a second

Does it hurt as much as breastfeeding your first baby?

Is probably different from Mum to Mum / baby to baby - but my second time was a whole lot easier. Painful nipples stopped much earlier, more regular patterns sooner (not so much cluster feeding) and milk came in faster

for me second and third was alot easier, i had some pain and cuts for a couple days think nipples needed to get used to it again lol but that was nothing compared to the couple of weeks i suffered with my first x

Nope, loads easier, very little pain(and lots of my friends had the same experience)

Much easier for me too...pain and healing for 3 or 4 days...not 2-3 weeks!

milk came in faster and nipples toughened up in 2-3 days with second. Its been a lot easier!

Phew. Hopefully will be the same for me then. Didn't help that number 1 had a tongue tie and my poor nipples were ripped to shreds. Hopefully number 2 will be considerably easier

This is good to know! Breastfeeding was def tough to start out with first time round- for a good few weeks!!
Hopefully my second will be easier too! Xx
