take some preggy/breasfeeding vits lis..breastfeeding take a lot out of you.. remember you have to stay healthy to give ehr the best to.. that includes resting etc..and even if you are taking painkillers like oc-codamol they are safe for you to take and wont effect seed.. just like in pregnancy. you are doing the best for her.. and for you to be in pain isnt gonna help her is it...i can see what you mean tho.. you dont want to be taking these pills..but you do need to.. so try not to worry about it.. theya rnt harming seed. xxx

unless you are using organic, the stuff they pump into cows aint much better...

seriously though the dr will be aware that you are booby feeding and will prescribe those pills tjhat trials have shown either don't trasfersinto milk or their effects are marginal.

aaaagh Midna. You've had a tough time of it. Admire you for persevering with all of that. My back is ok, but my knees and wrist and really painful. Can't put LO in and out of the car seat at the moment :( Had that tendonitis since January now...and she is not getting any lighter.

Before any of the tablets go near the breast ducts they have already been filterd into the blood stream.

To then get filterd again when reaching the breast ducts, hardley anything if anything will be passin those little chops,I can promice you that.

when i was breast feeding i accidentally took a super-strong co-codamol (thought it was a paracetamol! ) and foned the hosp but they said not to worry its fine. also i forgot my (mini) pill one time and had to go for the morning-after pill  and asked about it at boots pharmacy and they foned the manufacturers who said less than 1% goes into breast milk and its negligible after a few hours, basically was safe :D

try not to worry, im sure ur milk's fine- just take lotsa vitamins and rest loads!
