breast feeding question

hi

just wondering if anyone can help otherwise i will speak to the breast feeding advisor.

Liam and myself have been unwell for the past couple of days so i havent really been breast feeding much, been relying a lot on formula and hubby has been feeding him. now i feel better my milk has slowed down a lot. but will breast feeding Liam now stimulate my breasts to produce more milk??????

Yes, let Liam feed as often and as long as he wants as this will tell your body how much milk is needed. I have put in a link to a page about increasing milk supply, hope it helps xx

I was gonna say yes too....let him drink loads, especially at night and you'll be fine.

YES !! I was really ill when Dom was 3 months old and my milk nearly dried up, when I got better Dom got back on again and it came back over a day or so

thanks for that. i am sticking liam on every possible moment. i am getting a little bit of the filling up feeling but i am not there yet.

i have to have my dressing changed on my section today so i will pop in to see the HV.
