My baby isn't due for another few weeks but I just wanted to know if anyone has had any experience or advice on breast feeding after having breast reduction surgery.
My surgery was just over 3 years ago now and I was told at the time there was no guarantees I would be able to breast feed as it's all down to the techniques the surgeon uses and how well the body heals.
They only way I will know is if it give it a go which I fully intend to do. I am prepared for either outcome.
I just wanted to hear stories from other ladies who had been through the same thing or if there was anything I could do/try to increase my chances of successfully feeding my baby

Hi Michelle, just spotted this post so will keep an eye on it if u don't mind. I had a reduction about 14years ago, so I'm also unsure whether I'll be able to. My boobs are reacting as they should to pregnancy with the veins and soreness, so I'm hoping that's a good sign.

You'll be ahead of me, as I'm not due till July, so you'll have to let me know how you get in, if no one posts here first.

Good luck.

I definitely will do Kaffee. Like you my breastfeeding are reacting as they should so midwife is very confident I should have no issues. I have a breastfeeding class in the next couple of weeks just to give me so advice so will keep you updated.
