Hi, well I got nowhere in baby and toddler section so i thought I'd try here.

I've never found this issue with my 5 other children all of which I breast fed, so I'm at a lost,
Eight out of ten of my nine week old's feeds he is pulling and tugging at my nipples all the way through his feeds it's been the same since birth I thought it would settle down but it's unchanged and my nipples are so sore now, I can express in a bottle but it's such a struggle to keep it anything sterile and keep feeding him enough as he only goes 1 to 2 hours between feeds . He is well positioned and there is plently of milk flowing but he is just so aggressive while feeding. Any advise is more than welcome . xx

I'm really sorry I have no advice but i know what you mean, my little dude can tug really hard and it's not the most pleasant feeling at all. What about some Lansinol? x

Have you tried a completely different feeding position like the rugby position?

I'm no breastfeeding expert, but what about the biological nurturing position? He will find it more difficult to pull away with gravity against him.

My little man does this every now and again. If he's over tired or grumpy because I've taken too long to get the boob to his mouth. Sometimes he'll shake his head with my boob in his mouth - ouch.
Hope it resolves soon x
