Just wondering if you 'know' when you have them?

A lady at work who had her baby about a month ago said she didn't think she had had any. Then she realised that what she thought was baby moving was infact BH. As her tummy was going hard but for ages she thought it was just him moving.

I don't think i've knowingly had any but there are occasions when he moves and my whol belly feels hard and sometimes sore.

Hmmm??

I'm the same, sometimes my bump goes all hard and I just assumed it was the baby pushing himself right out but I think it may be BH

I read that they feel like the baby 'balling up', that kinda explains what I've been feeling.

They dont hurt though :)

hmm i kno what u mean coz some ppl say theyr painful and like little contractions so i didnt think i'd had any but i hav felt sorta tensions it could hav been them.

Thats very interesting because I didn't think I'd had any BHs but I do get this sensation fairly frequently. :?

sometimes that's what i think....''

but now def know when i'm having them... and they are kind of getting strong and regularly :)

I felt some BH a few weeks ago but recently havnt felt them, but im sure they have still been happening. Like you guys say, im probably mistaking them for baby movements.

Oooh, so maybe we have all been having them.

Baby balling up is a good description of what my bump does. Feels like he is in a big ball and bump goes hard and tense. Can be uncomfy and not painful. But it makes the skin hurt, if that makes sense.

Problem is its hard to tell how long they last for or how frequent as sometimes i think it is just his bum sticking out...

Oh well hurry up little one!

sorry to intrude.. Im not really meant to be in here, but I had this feeling after me and my OH had sex?

I had a really strong tightening of my stomach and thought it was the wee one just going tense and a bit scared of our antics.

Not sure if its anything to worry about at my stage???

I think that too, then all of a sudden it'll go softer again and I'll think 'oh he's moved again' :rotfl:

It's quite normal Funkylady, as when you orgasm it creates uterine contractions :)

With BH I think the big misconception (is that a pun? hehe) is that they 'hurt', whereas majority of them don't, so chances are you've missed more than you've felt.
