Okay, so I am nowhere near finding out the gender (still 9 weeks yet) although saying it like that, actually doesn't sound that long lol.

My partner and I are absolutely set on having a girl, we have a name, we have furniture picked out, we have everything. Obviously sod's law being that we will most likely have a boy!!

Our name for a girl is Bella Elizabeth.

For a boy we have .... NOTHING!

I need a boys name that we both like, because I think if I fall in love with a boys name, like I have done with our girls name then I can be excited either way.

Driving home from work yesterday and the name Caleb came into my head, I've fallen in love with it, my partner would prefer to spell it Kaleb which I'm happy with. But it's a middle name we can't agree on. My partner's name is John and I think Kaleb John has a lovely ring to it .. but he doesn't agree. And he's also not 100% on Kaleb but isn't giving any suggestions what he likes.

I know it's very early to be thinking about names, but I like to plan and at least have an idea in mind!

Any other suggestions, either names or middle names for Kaleb? xx

sorry no boys name suggestions here but your girls choice makes me think of a name I came across in a name list - Elizabella!

Love Bella Elizabeth.

Why 2nd name? Is there a meaning behind it? For example my DD's 2nd name is my mum's name. If this one is a girl, she will have a 2nd name after her great granny. If it's a boy he will get 2nd name after my husband (OH's 1st name).
I am probably weird but unless that 2nd name means something and is a connection to another person I see no point in giving one. Again - that's just me!! x

Good luck x

When I have more, if it's a boy it will be James most likely, my favourite boy's name is Alexander but my O/h doesn't like it. My son that I have already is called Cameron. :) and I chose that when I was 17, I was 30 when he was born!

I'm the same. My daughter has middle names to do with my heritage and her fathers heritage . My son has a middle name that the meaning meant a lot to us and it suddenly came to me sounding like it went with the first name. I don't think this coming one will have a middle name because right now I cant see there being any reason for it and even finding a first name is hard enough this time around. I dont have a middle name .

Elizabeth is my grandma's name :) I would prefer John as although it's my partners name it was also my grandads name x

I agree with you all about a meaning, just my OH is a pain in the ass haha x

We was the same with Scarlett. I cried when I found out she was a girl, I had convinced myself it was a boy to not be disappointed if it was!
Now idc. We haven't got a girls or a boys name! Heh just gonna wait we find out gender so we don't argue over we gender names we don't need to worry about.
We was gonna choose Daisy for a girl because I said as a joke "if it's a girl we should call her Daisy cos she was an oopsie Daisy" then hubby was like that's actually a nice name then I said yeah. Changed my mind it's in the 'maybe list' aha.
I like Finley and Myles for a boy but hubby isn't kean!
There's loads of apps you can get for names x

I like Callan for a boy, not too far from Caleb. We also know a Calvin and Lomond which are more unusual. Would you shorten to initials, like CJ?

We can think of loads of girls names, but cannot agree on boys names.
We have picked ONE - so if "it" comes out and doesn't look like a Finlay/Finley, we are in a mess haha!
I am trying not to stress too much until we know the gender for definite (next week) x

I think a short middle name after Kaleb would be lovely!

We are team yellow so dont know what we're having (5 weeks til D Day lol) and have also struggled to agree on a boys name that we both love. I like short or one syllable names like Jax, Eli, Joey, Levi and Sol but DH just doesnt like any of those. He likes more unusual names and especially ones of his favourite motorcycle riders such as Valenino and Maverick. He is really set on Maverick and I actually am coming round to it a bit more but have my doubts.

I think the one name we both like which is a main contender is Sonny. If it comes to a middle name we will struggle also!

We have fully agreed on a girls name (even before we married lol) and we chose Lily , its DHS grandmothers name and its another version for Elizabeth which was my mothers name. Actually there are loads of girls names we like but a boy is more difficult!
