Hi yah ladies

Looking for some inspiration, I am having my family over for Boxing Day will be 10 of us eating  and I am a bit stuck on what to cook

What do you guys usually eat on Boxing Day??

For our family it's always been cold meat, bubble and squeak and pickles! X

We go up our aunties and they always do like w buffet lunch with cold turkey and boiled ham, salad pots, boiled eggs, cucumber, beetroot, mini sausages, other salads. And also chips if anyone wants them. For afters it's always, Xmas pudding, apple pie, cheesecakes or icecreams. It's all gorgeous!

i usually have a second roast boxing day.........and this year were off to my mums for it!! usually the day after boxing day is cold meat salad etc!!

As there is 6 adults and 3 kids at my mums she does a hot buffet every year. We have left over gammon etc, cheeses, crackers, plus hot pizzas, garlic breads, chicken, sausage roll, baby sausages and hot potatoes. Always goes down a total storm. Everyone chooses what they want depending on how stuffed they are from xmas day still and this year me and my sil are pregnant so can eat little and often as babies are making it difficult to eat huge meals.

We usually fed up with Christmas dinner so usually do something like left over cold meat, bubble and squeak with left over veg or other light buffet kind of food - little sausage rolls etc but last year we had friends round so we did a big pot of curry, rice, naan bread etc and it went down really well because I think everyone was a bit fed up of Xmas food.

All sounds very yummy has given me so good ideas thanks

I was thinking of going with cold meats, mash, prawn cocktails, salad with some hot finger food like garlic bread, sausage rolls, pigs in blankets and a mixture a desserts .... never cooked for so many people before so just hope now I dont burn the house down!!:oooo:
