Booking in

At how many weeks does the midwife see you for a booking in appointment?

I'm currently 6+1 and haven't contacted them yet. Just wondered what the common practice was?

I was told to contact mine at about 8 weeks.

my GP contacted the midwife for me and i got a letter through the door telling me when my app is! my app is on friday i wil be 9w.

I contacted mine when I was 5 weeks and they booked me in for when I was 8. I'd phone now just to see what the protocol is in your area also what the demand is!!! There has been a few ladies on here who have had their scans late (around14 wks) because of waiting lists x

I'm just over 6 wks and rang the doctors yesterday they said they would get midwife to give me a ring today and sort out my booking in app

I rang my GP practice last week, and the Midwife called me at the weekend and booked me in for 17th August when I will be 8 weeks xx

my gp passed my details on and i got a letter with a booking in app for when im 10 weeks

I phoned yesterday and got an appointment to see the GP on thursday, but dont know when i'll see midwife.
