Booking in and surprise early scan!!!!!

So I had my booking in appointment today. The midwife I met was really lovely and when I told her how worried I was that I've been feeling normal the past week or so she offered me an early scan today! Of course I jumped at the chance as it's my first one! I had to wait around for a couple of hours with a full bladder which wasn't much fun but I got to see my baby!!!!! The sonographer was trying to show me the heartbeat and then the baby jumped! My little jumping bean
It's such a relief to know that everything is ok! They wouldn't give me a picture as they said that I will be able to get one at the 12 week scan (at a cost of £5 each!).

I know it's crazy money, if you want 4D ones they're £10 each! I'd rather pay the money and have the picture though, will just have to remember to get enough change to take with me

Thanks everyone, I was lucky with the midwife today, but I won't see her again I don't think as the next midwife app is at my GP instead of the hospital. Oh well!

OMG congrats!!! Ur MW sounds dead nice! The past 2 weeks my symptoms have also gone ... im just gunna hold on til my scan on 12th april...though id love to know things are all ok. Im even dying to do a another preg test! Great news that tho hun! xx

Oh hun I'm sure your fine, honestly my symptoms are gone too but there the little bean was, jumping away! Your little one will be just fine. It is a worry but normal - must be if we both have it ! x
