Hi,
I am just over 10 weeks pregnant now and have my booking appt on Friday with midwife but I am so nervous. I feel so normal that I cant help but think something must be wrong. Apart from tiredness and tender boobs I feel completely fine. Have gone off some foods and get nausea every now and again but am never sick so just very worried. Has anyone else had no symptoms? Will the midwife be able to reassure me in any way at the appt on Friday do you think? Maybe by listening to heartbeat? I had a miscarriage this time alst year so just cant help but worry.Sorry to rant just so scared :(

Hey hun!

Perfectly normal to be nervous!

Last time I had nausea but no sickness but this time apart from sore boobs and excessive hunger so far i'm fine!

The MW will probably talk you through your notes and fill them in. She'll weigh you and measure your height, she'll probaly ask you to do a urine sample and she may take some bloods. Every area is different though and I had all of my bloods taken at hospital apps not MW apps. I very much doubt she'll listen to baby's heart beat because I don't think they can hear it just yet. I may be wrong though because as I say every area seems to be different.

Try not to worry too much hun (easier said than done I know) but this is when it all becomes 'real' and exciting! Good luck :) x
