ok so im not complaining if anything its nice to have a hospital completely on the ball especially with having an elective c-section.

dont even know how far gone i am and ive a scan date to see how far i am (not my 12 wk scan)

ive an appointment booked in july to see midwife team and one in aug to see obstetrics

god knows what all these are for me hey-ho lol

I have the midwives tomorrow and my first scan on the 26th May, I'm only going to be 6 weeks for my first scan, what are they intending to see?

I already have two appointments in two weeks, so if this is a taste of things to come, I'll never afford a pram, I'll have spent all my money on train/bus fares to appointments lol

have you had any bleeding or previous mc/ otherwise unless there arehealth reasons cant see why they need to scan/

only reason im having one is i dont know when my last period was lol

Nope, we tried for this one for a long time, but my only other pregnancy went smoothly, and I can practically give them the hour this one was conceived let alone the date of my last period, so I'm lost as to why. I've told my OH not to bother coming and raising suspicion with work, I'll take my Mum. And I've had to move my first midwife appointment until next Tuesday now too as I'm laid up with an ear and throat infection. I'll have both appointments on the same day lol

oh that is strange lol oh well i wouldnt complain get to have extra pic of your LO :)

I feel the opposite went to gps at 4w and got told you dont see gp anymore and need to book with midwife, booked with midwife for the next week at that appointment the midwife said i dont need to see you till 12 weeks so i havent seen anyone yet got an appointment on friday which will be my first real appointment.

I saw the GP within hours of getting my BFP, I knew I was on medication that they would want to take me off immediately and I wasn't going to chance one more day on it.

I think it's a fluke that everything else is moving so fast, I saw a hospital midwife the next day as I had an appointment for fertility, and she put through a form for this early scan, and the midwife team want to book me in with the diabetic clinic, that's why they are seeing me so early.

Make sure you do see people regularly and soon alilou, on my first it was about 6 months before I saw the midwife team (luckily I was seeing the hospital staff) as there was a total mix up between teams, I wasn't letting that happen this time!

I seem to be getting no help at all been to see gp twice this week with really bad pain in my lower back and my leg going numb i was told its because im pregnant and deal with it i ended up bursting into tears to which gp said what do you want me to do i said give me some advice and she said what advice do you want! Cant wait to see midwife on friday and hopefully get some advice!

What a horrible GP, some of these stories make me thankful for my GP's and I don't often say that! My lovely GP was grinning like a cheshire cat when I walked in to his room, as the fact I'd had my positive had already come through from the receptioist, it felt so good that he was pleased for me.

I hope you get better luck with your Midwife hun, I hope you get some answers soon x
