It is literally making me sick now. Nothing seems to work and gets to the point where I end up running to the loo to :puke: . As soon as its come up I feel fine untill I eat something and it starts again. I am not bringing everything up just the acidy stuff as it burns my throat. Once its out I am fine. Really fed up with it. Any suggestions??? Rennie or Gaviscon are no longer having an effect.

 Katrina

It's HORRIBLE isnt it, I was awake at 4.30am other day with it, dosnt matter what I eat, when I eat etc still comes on and like you I have found that the gaviscon etc dosnt work, my mum suggested trying peppermint tea and got some from Holland & Barrett called 'Health Heather, herb specialists, Peppermint Herbal Infusions' I did try it and it smelt lovely but I cant drink anything like that, I managed 2 sips, so cant tell you if it worked, worth a try though.

Cheers Ladies.
Like you Tuck I cant drink all that herbal stuff I think they taste awful :puke: .
Just not sure what to try next
Have tried the "drinking a large glass of water" but just end peeing loads :rotfl: , Milk makes it worse, fizzy drink to make me belch. One thing just seems to bring on something else lol.
7 more weeks of all this. Please, please dont be late in making your appearance

Sorry to hear you are suffering.......the first thing everyone asks me when they meet libby is.....did you have heartburn? (I did.....nothing worked.......sorry I can't recommend anything)

Apparently, if you get heartburn then your baby is more likely to have a good headful of hair - like Libby :D Not that that helps, but it just made me think of it.

Sorry....i gatecrashed, waffled & didn't leave anything helpful........
