This has been happening throughout my entire pregnancy - and still at 32+4! I've had one very short nosebleed but it's mostly when blowing my nose that it's a little bit bloody in both nostrils.
From what I read online, it's quite common to have bloody noses / gums due to increased blood volume. Also, this time of year with the heat and the pollen is probably aggravating your nose a little in conjunction with the extra blood volume, even if you don't suffer with hayfever.
(My bf doesn't get hayfever but he's already had about 3 nosebleeds in the last few months thanks to the heat!)
Unless it's constant nosebleeds and/or accompanied with headaches or dizziness, I wouldn't worry at all
Yes! Getting it a lot now. The fact I have to keep blowing my nose due to hay fever is not helping. Had to walk out of a school assembly the other week to deal with a nose bleed.
I had horrendous nose bleeds when I was pregnant with my daughter. Clots and everything down the back of my throat, usually at night. Nothing so far but it was later on I got then last time. Saying that, I often get blood in my nose and have headaches and vertigo and dizziness with unknown cause X
i had slight nose bleeds and bleeding gums in my first pregnancy. Its still fairly early for me atm but I suspect it will happen this time too. Sounds normal but if you're concerned speak to midwife/gp.
