Blood group :S

Just got my bloods through the post, only took them 4 bloody weeks to send them!
It says my blood group is O rh D positive? Is this the rare one?

Me too!! Hubby keeps telling me he's special cos he's AB-, and I'm just boring cos I have run of the mill O+ blood. But I just say I'm better cos I can give everyone my blood xx

Ohhhh is it O rh Negative that's the rare one? I remember my friend havin a dodgy blood group when she was pregnant and she had to have loads on injections!

So long as I dont have to have them it's cool!

LOL sorry guys, shouldn;t have said!

The needle is about an inch and a little bit and they put it in your arm , the liquid stings when it goes in for about 10 -15 seconds , the way I thought about it was labour is going to be worse

Everybody I know has had the anti-d injection in the fleshy bit just above their bum? This includes my Mum who had me 31 years ago? x

I have had it twice and I had it in my arm both times and I will have to get it again in may! Apparently they don't need to do it in your bum/ thigh the arm works just as well!

I'm o- and my lo is o+ and non idea what oh is so have no idea what new baby will be!!

I think I'd rather have it in my bum for this reason! It's always seeing the needle that's worse for me. If only they could take blood from your bum too I wouldn't get so worked up!!
