Blood Clot? TMI :(

Yesterday my first period since having Riley started. It's quite heavy ( ) and at about midnight I went to the toilet and a HUGE lump of blood came out. If ya draw around the bottom of a soup can, thats how big it was

Needless to say, it freaked me out......

have any of you had any of this? I'm on my 7day break from the pill so could this have caused it? Gonna phone the hosp later I think

I had these after the birth... my MW said that if it was bigger than my fist worry. If not, dont.

I dont know if this would apply to period too... best to ask GP or HV!

i dont have any children yet... but i just wanted to post because for me that is a normal period. i have had regular blood clots that size and slightly bigger, but they cant work out why, make sure you take iron supplements relgiously as you are at high risk of becoming anaemic.

if you are worried go see your GP. hope you feel better soon hun xxx

I called hosp, they said not to worry unless I start to get a lot more clots. Ill keep an eye on it
