I had quite a big bleed last night, terrified and have no idea what to do.
DH is trying to get me into an emergency appointment at the doctors this morning to see if i can get something for this violent cough as i'm pretty sure that wont be helping.
I'm so scared and don't know what to do....

Hi Feefee,

try not to panic, worrying will only make you feel worse. I know that is easily said than done.

Definitely see a medical professional asap, if I were you I might go down to a and e, depends how long you have to wait to see a doctor.

Please keep us posted of how you get along. Thinking of you,

K.xxx

Thanks KJ, we were going to go to A&E last night but as our DD is 10 was sleeping and has school today i didnt want to drag her outta bed at 1am.
I had a quick shower and then put a pad on and tried to sleep but as you can imagine didn't get much, although the blood has stopped, i'm just so worried as my breasts aren't painful at all now and yesterday they were killing me!
:(

I wouldn't have slept at all. Lots of people have bleeds and go ont o have healthy babies so it's not necessarily bad news.

I did have a little blood on wiping this morning, but I've been having problems with my number 2s (sorry TMI!! apparently it happens when pregnant), and so I'm hoping that was the source (if you know what mean!).

Did you have any pain aswell?

xxx

No thats the strange thing, no pain whats so ever and still don't have :?
Hubby's just gone to the doctors to see about getting me in as they have been engaged on the phone since opening, fingers crossed

As for the TMI no such thing

Hi Feefee,

Get yourself to A&E asap.

I miscarried in September and mine started with a sudden bright red bleed, which then stopped and started again, but I couldnt get to a&E as I was in Corfu on holiday. My boobs stopped hurting completely, and I had absolutely no pain at all when I bled.

I don't want to sound like I'm trying to scare you, but please go to hospital, they can do more than a doctors.

Let us know how you get on, and praying everything is ok for you

Good luck, thinking of you,

i'm sorry your havin a hard time hun, try not to worry til you have seen someone, again easier said than done i know.
lots of ladies bleed in early pregnancy and go on to have perfectly healthy babies, the most recent i can think of is oldermum who is in second tri she bled on n off for a while but all is fine with her.

good luck hun keep us posted

Just got back from the doc's and have a scan booked for 1.30 today so fingers crossed beany will be there, i dont know what i'm going to do if its not
Don't suppose there is anything they can do either, if we're going to lose beany then we're going to lose it. I just hope and pray that we don't.

im thoughts are with you hun hope its still going to be there

Hi Sweetheart,

As Lyn said i've had bleeds in 2 pregnancys, 4 days with this one and all is well.

It is frightening, i so hope all will be well, i know it isn't easy to cope with.

Hi fee,

sending you lots of positive thoughts and hope everything is ok hun x

i am sorry to hear you are going thru this.... lots of luck with the scan

Hiya all,
Well just back from the scan and i had to have an internal one (which i hate!)
the midwife sonographer (sp) saw the sac and the uterus, however all she could say is that everything was in the right place :(
She said the bleed is either a emplantion bleed or just "one of those things" its now looking very uncertain as to what will happen next.
I have another internal scan booked for Feb 1st which will either show beany growing or needing a D&C so fingers crossed for the 1st

Surely the midwife should have been able to tell you more than that? :(

My friend is 6 weeks pregnant and was bleeding so they gave her a scan and an internal and told her everything was absolutely fine.

I hope you dont spend the next 2 weeks worrying yourself silly

i m sorry they coulnt give you a definate answer how annoying.... i read that sometimes they can see a heart beat at 6 weeks but they can't always thatt early...did they mention that?

I'm sorry they've left you waiting like this but the words 'everything is in the right place' doesn't sound like bad news.

Good luck for your next scan.

I think that sounds like positive news too... I had a missed misscarriage and they knew straight away, whereas in this pregnancy I had several quite heavy bleeds early on ( 7-10wks ish) but all was fine...
I had a cough also when they were happening so maybe that could be making it worse.
Got a feeling that all is fine for you

i'm sorry its wasnt more reassuring but i'd take the fact they said its all in the right place to be a good sign

fingers crossed everything goes well from now on

Had a wee nap and feeling a bit more with it now,
She did mention that sometimes at 6 weeks they can see the heartbeat and sometimes not, really does depend on the person and actual dates although we are pretty much spot on for the dates :?
Hubbys put me on complete bed rest and only lets me out for the toilet
Well fingers crossed for the next 2 weeks, and unless i have another bleed i'm going to hope and pray that beany is growing. :|

hi hun

Im so sorry you are going through this but im sure it will be fine for you. Iv bleed so many times this pregnancy and my lo is still going strong.

I wish you all the best hun keep us updated.
