Bleeding stress, anyone had similar?

So I’ve had a pretty stressful 24 hours...
I though I was 6 weeks or just over. About 9ish last night I had some pinkish/brown watery discharge. Obviously worried but fell to sleep with a pad on. Woke up at 1am and there was red blood. Not like post box red, but more red than I would like. Rang 111 for advice and a doctor called back 3 hours later. Got an appointment booked for a scan at epu but not until Monday. I had already paid for a private scan for Sunday and managed to bring that forward to 11am today. Not a lot of blood since the night time, just a small bit after running around doing the school run.
So went to the scan and had a transvaginal one done. The lady could only see the yolk and sac and dated me at 5 weeks 5 days, so not massively behind what I thought. She said seeing this was a good sign, she could also see a haematoma which is where the blood is coming from. So overall the scan was inconclusive. I have to go back on Monday for the epu appointment although she did say it was unlikely to look any different in that amount of time and they would probably call me back but to go anyway. I also have a tilted uterus apparently which makes it more difficult to scan!
Has anyone had a similar experience? Not really sure what to think. I feel horrendous this evening but I think I’ve got a bit of a bug and being up all night probably didn’t help.

The sonographer did say that’s exactly what she would expect to see at that point so I’m just hoping everything will be ok. Not sure if I’ll get anymore answers on Monday or not. There are some questions I didn’t ask at the time though, you know how you end up forgetting in these situations, so I can’t hopefully find out the answers to those. I don’t have to work now until after Monday so literally doing nothing other than the school run x

I have my early scan Friday (as referred by the GP) - I will be just 6+2... really nervous.. after that initial bleeding just 1-2 days after my BFP. Had no bleeding since, so I'm hoping all is well... but nervous..

I’m 5 weeks tomorrow. Woke up with light brown spotting absolutely terrified! Booked in on Wednesday for a scan at Epau. X

I’ve been spotting every evening and sometimes during the day for the last week or so. I’ve got a scan booked at the epau tomorrow. Totally understand what you’re going through. Hope all is well for you sweetie xx

Sorry to hear some of you are going through similar things. Fingers crossed for your scans. Let me know how you get on.
Haven’t had any bleeding yet today. Tiny bit of brown when wiping but that’s it. Will ask a few more questions on Monday regarding the Hematoma as I think the bleeding will continue to be on and off because of this. I’m not overly worried at the moment, just glad I know the source of the bleeding. X

Not sure what to expect at Monday’s scam. The sonographer seemed to think we probably would see much else at that point although I’ll be 6 weeks 3 days then going by her dating. Xx

Ive had exactly this!! Hematomas aren't normally dangerous and won't effect baby. Its also the reason you're bleeding. I bled a few bouts of red and brown on and off for a few weeks but my last scan at 9 weeks showed that it had pretty much gone and I haven't bled now for over 2 weeks. So I'm sure you'll be absolute fine! 😘 xx

Your body will reabsorb it or bleed it out by 12 weeks normally. Howdver they did put me on bed rest and I do think it helped x

Thank you my lovely! I’m hoping everything will be fine. Oh did they? This is something I am worried about as I’m literally on my feet constantly at work, there is no way I can have a chair and still be able to work. I want to ask them on Monday. I had ten days off annual leave after I found out, went back to work Monday and Tuesday then started bleeding on Tuesday night! Xx

i have just come back from epu after wiping brown/reddy discharge from myself the last 12 hours...i had private scan last monday she said she couldnt see anything possibly too early..the epu have booked me in for q scan on wednesday but i also have another private scan booked tomorrow unsure weather to go or not...my dates have we at 6-7weeks but untill sac/baby is seen i cant be sure....the waiting is a horrible feeling.

i did get checked over at hospital and mh cervix is closed she said there is blood there but i am not actively bleeding...just so stressful xx

Bless you, the horrible isn’t it! I’ve been booked in at the epu on Monday. But had a private scan on Wednesday. She could see the yolk and sac and the hematoma which is where the bleeding was coming from but too early for anything else although that is normal to see at this point she said. She dated me at 5 weeks 5 days. I though I was slightly more than that but not too far off. However she did say I have a tilted uterus which makes it harder to scan me, and not to expect any change at the scan on Monday as they normally wait at least a week in between so they can see a difference. Have you paid a deposit for the scan tomorrow? If not it might be worth rebooking it for when you are likely to actually see something if you are having one on Wednesday anyway.
The waiting game is the worst bit, if it’s over I would rather know.

i agree you can deal with it then its the not knowing!!! Ive booked somewere else for private scan i only booked it because of this starting late last night i thought i need to know but ended up going to epu because i thought this is getting more red...

i dont have any symptons either which doesnt help ive had sore boobs on an off the odd head ache but thsts it...it will be a week since the last scan tomorrow so unsure what to do ive paid deposit...i done a clear blue last week and thst said 2 3 weeks pregnant which u add 2 weeks on so 4 5 weeks that was last week meaning this week i would be 5 6 weeks surely they will be able to see something if its not failed xx

Sorry I had misread before. Yeah if it’s been a week I would definitely go then, just be aware that they might not be able to see a heartbeat or Fetal pole yet but should hopefully be able to see something more than last time then
Did they not scan you at the epu yesterday?
I wouldn’t worry too much about the symptoms as it’s probably just too early, I don’t really have a lot of symptoms either.
