Bleeding at 13 weeks

Hi ladies
I’m really not sure what to do.

I am 13 +1 today. Had my scan last week and all was good. I’ve had a bit of a tummy ache today and put it down to constipation (sorry for tmi but this is something I struggle with during pregnancy) however when I went to the toilet today and wiped there was some fresh blood. Only when I wipe. Since then there has just been a small amount of blood when wiping but not much

I’m obviously really scared and worried. I spoke to my gp who basically said not to worry but I can go for a scan tomorrow if I want to.

Anyone else had this and was everything ok

Hiya i lve not had that but have read it can be quite common in pregnancy, esp in 1st tri. It will be good to get your scan tom to reassure you. Many women on the forum have had some bleeding or spotting during pg and have continued without problem. I hope you get some reassurance tom xx

I’m 13+1 and I had some bleeding early last week, it was after I had a poo and the blood was pink rather than red, I called the maternity unit and they said it was quite common, they said as long as it wasn’t a lot of red blood and I didn’t get any really severe cramps then it was nothing to worry about. I had quite a lot of brown for 3 days after that, was all in the lead up to my 12 week scan which showed baby was all fine. I’ve also read other accounts of miscarriages at this stage and it sounds as though you would be in terrible pain and have a lot of bleeding and clots if that’s what this was.
