I have had a miscarriage. According to the doc the baby died weeks ago judging by the HGC levels in my blood. But only started bleeding sunday night very hevy and painful. The bleeding seems to be getting worse and so does the pain.

How long is it supposed to last?

I've not had a natural MC so cant help you there, just wanted to say sorry for your loss. x x x

I was only 6 and a half weeks when I miscarried and I had a complete natural miscarriage. I was lucky that the pain never became too severe for me but I knew when I passed the baby. I was bleeding very heavily for two days when I eventually had the miscarriage, I had been having some clotting before this also. I was in no pain until the following day after the bleeding had started and it became like period pain in my back mainly. It just felt like period cramps which seemed to ease after I had passed everything. I still bled for about 10 days in total - the last few days were like a light period. I found my stomach to be more tender after the miscarriage so to speak - all the muscles felt very tender. After two weeks physically I was back to normal. The bleeding was incredibly heavy at times much more even than my heaviest period. I hope your ok sweetie xxx

Sorry ive no advice hun.. Just want to say im so sorry for your loss:hugs:

Thanks girls...

Laura I have no knowledge of passing the baby unless I missed it. I was 10 weeks but the doc said the baby died 2/3 weeks ago so possibly 6/7 weeks. I have just had heavy bleeding more than a heavy period and period pains. Hopefully it will get lighter and less painful only time will tell. xx

I was scanned and they couldn't see anything either but that afternoon I passed a bigger 'clot' and it was a different colour from the other clots. Not huge, but certainly bigger than the other bloody clots I had. It was more like tissue so to speak. Sorry I don't want to be too graphic but I wasn't told anything like this and I wish someone would have told me what might happen. They think mine stopped growing as soon as it got started really so hadn't really developed much at all.

Hi honey - really sorry to hear about your loss :hugs::hugs::hugs:
I had one at 11 weeks that had stopped growing at 6 weeks. Very heavy bleeding, more than normal period and almost contraction like pains. Started on a friday night and I passed the sac on the following thursday. Bleeding calmed down after that but longer than a normal period.
Had 2 early ones at around 5 or 6 weeks each time and the bleeding was heavy but not as long.
Just remember to take care of yourself - thinking of you. x

Thanks to all of you. I havent passed anything clot-like but scan showed a totally empty uterus so I must have passed the baby and not known. If Doc was right that my baby died weeks ago would only have been 6/7 weeks so would be tiny. Am feeling awful but need to brush myself off and face the world. Off work today but gonna make myself go back 2moro instead of sitting here thinking and upsetting myself even more xxxx

So sorry to hear of your loss
xxx

That's definitely not normal.
Some women have bleeding and pain even days after their period, and there could be MANY reasons behind it. Some just have periods that way, but some have discovered tumors in their uterus.

I recommend you to go visit a doctor RIGHT AWAY.
This is seriously going to affect your health if you choose to ignore it.
The doctors know their stuff, trust them.

Good luck with everything & I hope that helped.
