Well Blake is definitely going through a growth spurt! He wont stop eating and managed to down 8oz in 2 hours last night he's a little piggy!! My MW weighed him again today and he's now 9lbs 9oz. He was 9lbs 0oz on Saturday so has gained 9oz in 5 days- but I'm not at all surprised!

I'm still suffering and am now on my 2nd course of antibiotics as my scar is still infected. I'll just be so pleased when I'm well again and can do normal things! I really want to take Blake out in his pram for a walk, but I'm just not strong enough yet.

I told Blake it's mothers day on Sunday, so he's having a think about what to get me:

3 weeks old today! Where has that time gone?

Well Blake got together with Darcy the cat and bought me a Pandora charm for my bracelet for Mothers Day then he gave me our worst nights sleep ever he woke at 2.10am for a feed and didn't go back to sleep until nearly 5am. I was crying at that point
He's being really difficult to settle, but once asleep he goes for hours? He was awake for most of this morning, then has slept for most of this afternoon. According to my wonder weeks app he is still in the first leap, so I'm hoping things will get better soon. It's so difficult to get anything done when he's fussing.

I think we might be coming out of the leap! He slept better last night and has been better with his naps during the day today. I took him out in the pram on my own today we went to Next to buy his girlfriend a birthday present (older woman ) and we went to Matalan where I bought him a couple of sleepsuits now that he's in 0-3 months. He slept the whole time

OMG, where has the last month gone? I can't believe Blake has been in our lives that long already. The nurse came out to weigh him today, then she asked me to guess what he is. I said he has to be 10 and a half pounds and he is! 10lbs 8oz today! He's following the 91st centile and is going to be a big boy. It's no wonder he's always asking for food.

He's been a bit of a pain in the arse today. Screaming for food then only taking an ounce at a time, peeing on me when I change his nappy, his nappy leaked- so I had to change his clothes and his sheets, then as soon as I put him down he threw up (guzzled too much again) so I had to change his clothes and sheets again! and I had to eat a sandwich with him in my lap as he wouldn't settle in his bed

I threatened to sell him on eBay It's a good job he's cute x

Happy 1 month to Blake!

They have their days don't they wen they are being monkeys, Ava has been a wingy bum today just wanting lots of attention & feeding.

What a big boy he is bless him, he's still bigger than Ava & she's a month older....lol.

Thank you! He was a real monkey that day, I was glad when it was over. On the plus side he gave us a good night- so it was worth it.

I think he's entering a growth spurt now. He's drained 4 bottles so far this morning and is on his 3rd nap. I don't mind keep filling him up and letting him sleep- it's too sleety and cold to go out today anyway.

Well we had a crappy night last night. Bedtime routine is still going well- he was in bed asleep by 8.30pm and slept soundly until 1am. Then he had me see every hour from 1 to 6am he's struggling with trapped wind. He seems to guzzle his bottles and take in lots of excess air with them, so we've bought some anti-colic bottles to try.

I'm feeling much better now, I took Blake out in the pram to our local Sure Start centre and put us on the waiting list for Baby Massage classes. She warned me it could be June/July before we get on the course at least the weather should be warmer by then. It took me 40 mins to walk there, so I want to work on getting there quicker.

Tomorrow we have our first birthday party to go to His girlfriend to be Isla is one, she's the baby that made me decide to get pregnant. We're going to a soft play centre. I know a lot of the other tot's that are going (well the parents anyway) so we should have a good time.
