Hey. Basically i have an awful surname and even tho ive found quite a few baby names that i like nothing will go with my surname. Doolin. Ive been stuck with it and i feel bad for my oh and lo been atuck woth it too! ! i love some names but nothing seems to go!! x

What names have you got so far Hun?

How about for a boy:

Samuel
Harry
Jacob
Thomas
Toby
Oscar
Oliver

Girls:
Amy
Annabelle
Jessica
Hannah

Not sure whether you prefer modern or more traditional? X

Thanks for that list. . I love oscar. . Hadnt thought of that. . I think i like the modern stuff. . i love eva or savannah for a little girl. .What have you got lined up for your lo :) x

I love Oscar too it's lovely. We're going for Elsie at the moment, it's the only name we can agree on and it's taken us nearly 8 months to get it lol. Going to each draw up a list and see what we like in the next few weeks and make our final decision once she's here! I like both your girls names and think they go with the surname. Plus your surname isn't horrendous Hun, Ive taught some kids with some very unfortunate surnames!! Humpage, Tittcome ( I kid you not!!)

Ooooh Doob I love Elsie! Xx

Ur surname isn't horrendous! Its really not! I like your names u suggested too. I also had Oscar on my list for a boy. But Dexter won. Then we were told we were having a girl and everyone (and I mean everyone) said thank god cause they hated our boys name choice! So think I'd of gone for oscar in end! Xx

I've heard of far worse sirnames as a child carer! I think maybe avoid D names but apart from that I think you're pretty safe x

Henry Doolin has a nice ring to it.. I like Oscar too, never too over used

Annabelle Doolin is whats on the top of my head, I know not modern, just sounds pretty
