Birthing ball

Yea I was worried about the wobbling.. I'm a clumsy person lol I know I'd roll off lol! Plus does it go up and down quick and easy? I know my girls would destroy the house playing with it if they got their hands on it!!

It doesn't take that long to go up, not taken mine down as so far haven't needed to. I think it took about 5/10 mins to blow up

I'm loving mine! :) So much more comfy than the sofa. Although I nearly fell off it the first time I sat on it. Its helping with the dull aches I've been getting in my thighs

I've been using my sons space hopper, seems to be doing the same job AND it has something to hold on to because my balance is terrible  x

Went to asda yesterday to do some shopping, and as soon as I walked in, I thought "huh, this isn't asda...." But then I realised it was the small asda, not the big one a few miles away, so they don't sell anything!

Thanks preggo brain! I have the worst delayed reaction ever! And still no bouncy ball!

xx

I may rest it on the bottom of sofa and put pillows around me

After a good afternoon on it, u'll be fine, as long as u dont blow it up too high, try and keep it so that ur bum/hips are only slightly higher then ur knees, but not lower...

I love mine, I'm sitting on it now as the computer chair is too uncomfortable! :) I'd be on it all day, but both OH and Pudding are obsessed with it. Jayceesmumma, I lock mine in my room to avoid little hands getting hold of it and throwing it around the room when I'm not there.

Well, the birthing ball is becoming an uncomfortable but funny experience! Baby is proper pushing out tonight and down on my bowel so its kinda painful whether i sit or lie across it. Tonight, i've been lying on it, with my knees on the floor and bunny rabbit has decided she's not afraid of the big giant blue ball afterall, so she's been crawling under the gap between my belly and the floor, brushing her whiskers on my stomach as she goes, which tickles lots. She's also been stopping to lick my tummy

I finally got mine yesterday! It's sooo comfy!! Are there any particular 'moves' you should do, or is literally just sit on the thing? My back and ribs are big fans of this ball!!

Advice i've found online is having your legs hip width apart and then sit on it, keeping them seperate. Then, bounce, rotate round & round or rock side to side. I also, lie across the top withe my knees on the floor, again my legs hip width apart and move backwards & forwards

I got the 6.99 one form Argos as that was the right size for my height (65cm) its great! x

Coco pops I first thought you meant that your height is 65 cm...:shock::shock:

Mine arrived tonight. Can't wait to blow it up and give it a try (I'm at work at the moment)

I think my daughter sits on mine more than I do, she's always nicking it!
You can also sit with your legs apart and squeeze them together to tone your thighs, or sit straight with your arms out straight at shoulder level then try lifting one leg up in front of you then swap legs to help with balance, be careful not to wobble off though!
