Bike - helmet?

Kai has this bike and we brought him a helmet - does he really need it? Because we have been out and seen lots of kids with similar bikes and no helmet?!? I thought he had to have 1.

Legally they don;t have to wear ne, although IMHO it should be made legal. They really can save lives. Two kids from my school were in an accident when cycling home from school, the one with the helmet, who took the direct ht survived, the one who wasn;t wearing the helmet died!

It is so easy for a child to injur themselves falling off that it's best to protect them,
