Not wanting to pins hopes at all but I am planned for a HSG next cycle after 13 months actively TTC and 3 cycles NTNP before that.

Just wanted to know what stories people have of falling pregnant after HSG? There seems to be quite a bit of info out there saying it can increase chances from 17% to anything from 25-55%

Any experiences or stories welcome. Thanks everyone x

I had the HSG last July and we didn't have a whiff of a BFP in the months that followed. As we didn't catch until March, I think it's safe to say the two are unrelated in my case anyway.

I also read lots of stuff about it helping and it just felt like more than a coincidence. So I guess it does help for some. A lot of the stuff I read talked about if there were any minor blockages the clear out would do them good.

In terms of the professionals I saw - the gynaecologist said she'd seen positive results but of course no guarantees, the fertility doctor told me it was compete rubbish but as she had nothing positive to say about anything, it was hard to take her seriously.

Hope that helps.

I’m not sure if mine is the same kind of procedure but when I had a laprascopy they also did a blue dye test of my tubes to look for a blockage. I got pregnant the month after? I had been trying for a few years x
