Hi everyone
Im quite new to this site as me and my hubby have recently decided to go for it and try for a baba!!!
Im trying to work out my most fertile dates, last period was 14th aug so is it around now?
Thanks
xx

Hi Hun and welcome
It really depends on the length of your cycle and when your next AF is due, the most fertile time is around two weeks before the next AF.

THis is the best week for you to conceive - Monday - Saturday.

I knew when I was ovlating as used to get very stringy clear discharge which is a good sign of ovulation.

Good luck, get at it this week!!! ha ha

Thanks girls!! hopefully it will be now then, will have fun trying lol :cheer:

Thankyou
Im so excited to be finally trying but im not expecting it to work straight away although it would be amazing if it did!!
can I ask a dumb question?! If we did it more than once a day would this weaken his you know what
Im so confused by all this ttc :?
xx

Not a dumb question at all  but yes it could harm your chances as sperm take 2-3 days to mature so even bd'ing every day might be to often.

Unfortunatly there can be conflicting advise, some people recomend every other day throughout the cycle then every day during the fertile time, others recommend every third day, some doctors recomend bd'ing every other day throughout your cycle.

I'd go with whatever frequency suits you as a couple best, people seem to get their BFP's when they BD every day and some get a surprise BFP when they'd only BD'd once in the month, good luck

My friend and her husband BD every day and she caught first cycle! It depends on the man, I reckon for the first few months you should go with the flow instead of regimenting it?! Save that for if you haven't caught by cycle 3 or 4!!!! Hope you get a BFP soon xx

Oh such a difficult question to answer........it all depends on so many factors, such as were you on the pill?, do you have regular cycles? Do you know if you are actually ovulating?

Look out for your body giving you signs that you are ovulating, such as EWCM, pains, etc.

I would definitely get BD'ing now as you could well be slap bang in the middle of your "fertile" phase!

Good luck
