Best laugh i've had in ages!

Just a quick log on because i had to tell you about this because it has cracked me up lol

Ofcourse it's at someone else's expense

I've mentioned my relative ages ago when i've been having a whinge - he spends his life in the pub and not bothered with much else and then just when i start to ttc it's announced he has got a friend who wanted a baby, pregnant.

So i'm all about him having a baby and i worried about which name he'd use as someone that side of the family already stole the girls name i used to want.

Well, this women has given birth to a little girl and they called it Amber - which is the same name as my DOG!

Hahahaha Cheered me up no end

Yeah but how annoying when people steal your dogs names, forget babies. I had a cat when i was little called Daisy and wanted a Daisy 2, and then my brother in law bought a dog and called it Daisy. I kicked up a bit of a fuss with my OH and said it was my favourite baby name (such a lie, except that a kitten is like a new baby) and said he had to tell his brother he couldnt have the name.

My husband ignores me when i get like that though, so Brother in law successfully stole it - humbug!

I get like that too Starfish - mine mine MINE! about stupid things and my husband just ignores me too

Yeah i like the name Amber, for a girl too, but it's unfortunate when you go for an unusual name and it turns out a relative has a dog witht he same name.

I'd be mortified, which is probably why i find it so hilarious it happened to someone else
