I am getting induced on Friday

Finally the end is nigh! I had my internal and sweep, got told I am about 50% effaced and about 1cm dilated, she gave me the sweep but not felt anything but should have baby by weekend anyway!

Getting a pessary on Friday at 2pm, and hopefully giving birth soon after that! Hoping I have her on the Saturday as I don't fancy having a royal wedding baby, thats not my cuppa tea

Don't know how to feel! Feel like I was imagining pregnancy and it would never end and to be told that this time next week I will have my little one has hit me like a tonne of bricks! x

Im nervous and excited too! Glad that its coming to an end now, feels like forever, imagine a royal wedding baby poor babies birthdays will be all of their damn anniversaries! No thanks, bet now that I have said that though .. xx

eeeeeeeeeh how exciting! it's nice to know there's an end in sight and soon you will have your gorgeous baby!!! 2 people i know have gone naturally the night before their booked induction! labour watch for friday - much more exciting than the royal wedding!!!

i recon baby will come in the next two days BEFORE your inducted, always the way when they book you in for it! happened with my daughter and know a few others, so i recon little miss will be here before friday

Thanks everyone! So pleased that there is end in sight, but its weird I don't know how to feel! After being pregnant so long I began to feel I was imagining it and thought I would never ever ever get to labour, so one minute I am really excited and jumping up and down and the next I am crapping and the next I am back to not believing it ! xx

I've woken up the last few nights thinking OMG very soon I will have a newborn baby lying next to me in her Moses basket and she'll rely on me for everything........I'm so excited but getting a bit scared now! We'll be fine though
