So went for my appointment today my mum took me as OH was at work , and i got the place wrong so i had to run for 15 mins across the whole hospital site to the right place! :dohh:

I was sweating buckets when i got there and there was no air con. Got called in straight away and the manager who saw me said as long as semen analysis comes back fine on 12th August then i'm fine to begin a prescription of clomifene!

I have to admit i am quite excited but as everyone keeps saying ' dont get your hopes up' But i cant help it!

A good workout for you, lol! I can't run the length of myself! Good to hear your on your way! FX for you!

That's great news Kirsty :)

I had to google clomifene (it's clomid for anyone else struggling) lol

Screw not getting your hopes up, why the hell not. You can sob as and when required ;)

Be prepared for some seriously hot flushes when you take your clomid ... One of the not so nice side affects x

Great news Hun! :)

Why are you having Clomid if you don't mind me asking, I'm meant to have it and I'm a bit confused as to why..

Are your cycles normal?

xx

I'm confused as to why they think you need it too Maybe, you're obviously ovulating and eggs are fertilizing to give you bfps, but then something else happens.

I hope this is something you can press on the specialist at your next appt Maybe

Lxx

Yep, Just putting it in my list of questions, thanks Lander, hope you're doing ok Hun! :)

xx

Maybe i need it to shorten my cycles and to help my follicles to grow to produce an egg x x

Ooh good luck Lander! :)

Kirsty, I have long cycles too, can be 35 days, how long are yours?

Did the doc explain why Clomid would help?

xx

Mine are in between 44 and 34 , no she never, she said it would encourage shorter cycles so that i would be ble to pinpoint ov better and regulate ???? x x

Ive seen one womans doctor ran tests because he believed that because she had long cycles her uterine lining was too thin when she ovulated and thus didnt sustain a pregnancy , he reccommended running tests and prescribing clomid to regulate this x
