been to see GP again...got something stronger for my comedy piles and am being referred to a private gynae consultant to sort my bits out!

Designer Vagina here I come...doc agreed it shouldnt be this sore 9 weeks on...she said it is healing but its overhealing now and my body is making too much tissue, which is why its still so bloody sore!! so she said they will probably remove all that excess tissue and just re do the episiotomoy and stitch it properly!

terrfied at the thought, but at least this time i wont have all the other bruising and swelling and trauma and so it should heal properly...i cant go on with it like this.

so should get an appointment in next week or so....would have had to wait 6 months to get it done on NHS...to be even seen with NHS!!

Thank god for private medical insurance with work...those buggers have been useful for something :D xx

Im suprised that they didnt take you into surgery in the first place to do the stitching.

yep...the stitches went after day one and they said there was nothing they could do for 6 months and then they would see me again to see how it had 'healed'....crazy eh...

the stitching was just done in the delivery room and not being cynical but it was just before a shift change.......lol..

I went to surgery for 4 hours. The external stitches have dissolved now but I didnt relise that there was internal stitches until last Friday when I went to see the Physio but they could take anywhere upto 4 - 6 months to dissolve as they are done thicker. It explains along of things like when I go for a poo it hurts and I bleed. Looks like im agravating the wound to the back passage.

Hopefully if they do a better stitch job on you, things will heal faster

have you got some lactulose?

doctor just told me to take it every day just to keep poos nice and soft and make everything easier.

Yeah Gp gave me a prescription yesturday for it but informed me that it will make me bloated. Great as if I dont already feel like a fat Moo that its going to make me worse.

Aw, well at least you know now and can get yourself fixed up.

Jealous @ the designer vag though.

The consultant who looked at mine said I would only get one after I had finished my family!! though she did say she was confident it was healing properly. Mine doesn't feel to bad now.

well thats it...i'm 9 weeks on and mine still aches like mad :( just been stood at door chatting to neighbour for 10 mins and it was throbbing :(

its def not right

Did they say what had caused it Samsgirl? And why it hasn't healed properly?

I am very pleased you are getting it fixed up quickly now

its cos my stitches went so early i think and cos of the strep b and recurring infections ...oh and thrush...oh and piles...lol....just everything :(

I'm glad your getting it sorted! Mine was the same but definitely not as bad - has randomly started aching again this last week not sure why! Hope the appointment comes through soon x
