Hi,

I am looking at the bedding for the cot, and was wondering is it worth spending a lot of money on something from M&P or can I get one of the cheaper ones??

I love the gingerbread man one in M&P and you get the cover and bumper for £40 and its reduced in price at the moment, but for the price it is reduced to I can get everything I need, cover, bumper, blanket, mobile duvet for £40. Is it worth getting better?

They advise not to use bumpers or a duvet until baby is a year old. I ended up buying a bumper because Emily rolls everywhere and kept getting limbs stick through the slats. I bought some cotbed sheets and blankets. But I use baby sleeping bags instead. It's up to you if you can afford the gingerbread range, it's lovely! But you don't need to have it.

You don't have to buy it it's completely up to you. If your LO is anything like mine though you'll be changing them every few days or even every day as mine's always being a little bit sick or dribbling on them :) so stock up on sheets! x

I usedthe bumper for about 2 weeks then lo discovered he could pull at it and then get himself under it so u decided it wasn't worth the risk. Duvets aren't reccommeded till babies are a year old. They look very nice but tbh it's all for show and not needed x

I got the mamas and papas once upon a time bumper but I have recently taken it off as Ella can now move about lots and I've heard horror stories of babies suffocating next to them. I also bought a fleecy blanket from the range but tend to just use sleeping bags as Ella kicks blankets off x

Thank you so much ladies, I think you have just saved me a lot of money!
