Hey ladies sorry to keep going on about bedding! Just wanted your opinion.

I'm shocked at how expensive bedding is, I totally fell in love with the new jamboree range in M&Ps but we just can't afford it. Same with Lollipop Lane Herbs Garden.

We are team yellow and I found this great deal on M&Ps, it's a bedding bale which includes quilt, bumper, curtains, fleece blanket, fitted sheet and lampshade for £99.

Do you girls like the neutral? I could then brighten it up with mobile, canvas pictures, rug etc?

They do canvas pics to match but don't want a boring looking nursery!!

go with your gut!! if you like it, then it doesnt matter!! baby is not going to sit up in the crib and tell you its awful!!! The bale looks gorgeous from here!
I am quite lucky as my mum is a seamstress and has made the bumper, curtains, nursing chair cushion covers etc all match, and have been given hundreds of sheets by my sister in law who has a 2 year old and 8 month old. I nearly passed out when i looked at rices for bedding! its ridiculous! Have you tried Tesco and Asda? they do bedding to which is half the price...
I think you have the right idea going neutral and then adding the colour when you know whether its a pink or blue baby!! xxx

That's really sweet. You can brighten up any room with accessories....pictures, toys, rug, light shades etc (I'm making all of mine lol, nearly had a heart attack at some of the prices ) xxxxxxxx

I think its lovely, and brightening it up means you can add your own twist to things.

Like ceris said - LO's not gonna know the difference.

Thanks girls think I'll order it. The price of some of the bedding is craziness! At least if we have it neutral we can add whatever colour we like. Great that you girls are making / getting the bedding made. Saves the pennies for other things xx

I have the same concern, so on the site there is ASK A MUM part. I put what you have, and they all said, you can't have the baby in a duvet until they are a year old, and nor have the bumper incase they come away and cover the baby. So only today I have decided that I will wait until I see the one I like in the sale, and put it away, for when he/she is a year old.

You can put the baby in the begining in blankets in a moses basket, or put the moses basket in the crib.

Just so you don't have to worry about the cost, they can't be used for quite a while.

We know we are having a boy but ours is still neutural coz I love it and is very relaxing for my little man!! I didnt get matching bedding as was very expensive I have just bought fitted sheets and blankets and he will be in sleeppod things once he is big enough!!
