Hi ladies

Just wondered what was best for baby bedding? There's so much choice, as usual and I'm all confused...

For the crib, what do we need?

For the cot/bed, what do we need?

Sheets: flannel or cotton?

Blanket or douvet?

Help, please! xxx

We have fitted sheets, flanalette sheets and cellular blankets. And sleeping bags.

It's advised you don't use a duvet or pillow till 1year.

On my iPhone - so cant see tickers :(

We bought loads of blankets but h hated being swaddled so we used sleeping bags from about 2 weeks (be carefull they have to be a certain weight before using think its either 7 or 8 lb) and fitted cotton sheets on the mattress. I wud say get one or two of each thing and get more when you know what your buba likes as I know lotsd of babies love to be swaddled!!

No duvets or pillows for babies under 1 year.
Cellular blankets are recommended as they have the little holes in them for air.
We use cotton sheets.
I did have a bumper set on the crib (which is more for aesthetics as they dont really serve a purpose and can be pricey) but not with the cot as they are not recommended once baby is more mobile (they can be used to pull themselves up, or can be pulled down etc).
If you are sticking to essentials I would say all that needed for the crib are a couple of cotton sheets and a couple od cellular blankets to start with :)
