Beach Holiday with baby

I've been given the fab but difficult task of arranging a beach holiday, yay! But where to go!

Can anyone recomend a good place to go for a self-catering beach holiday in about September with a then 7 month baby? Initially thought a Greek island, but sil has just suggested that's not such a good place to go right now!

I am going to Puerto Rico in the canary islands next Friday its lovely there, this will be my 5th time there!! such nice people and they have a gorgeous beaches. xx

Hi when my dd1 was 10.5mths old we went to Salou in Spain for 2 weeks was beautiful xx

I was gonna say Salou. My parents have not long come back from there and they loved it! Its one of the coolest of the spanish places, i think averages around 24 degrees? Plenty to do there and its really cheap to go there.

I've also heard Lanzarote is nice too.

We actually chose to go the last week in the sept first week oct still nice but not too hot for baby, only mistake we made was taking a baby that young via coach!

Mind you was coming up for 11yrs ago now x

Yeah, my parents were only there a week and still came back with a tan! They said it was lovely, wasn't too hot but just right and that was middle of May.

Tenerife, Los Christianos! We went in May with LO for 2 weeks and he turned 6 months when we were out there! So clean, not bad prices and a lovely breeze so not to hot! Cant recommend it highly enough!

i would say southern italy as im biased and thats where we will be going to see family.....! BUT... my mum always go to tenerife in sept as its still nice and warm but not boiling so perfect conditions for a little one!!! however, last time my mum went she said it had gotten quite expensive compared to previous years! and i would have said lanzarote too! xo

Greek Islands are wonderful esp in May June and September, Zante and Kos are my fav! Kos is wonderful heat fro a LO and parents alike!!! Bugger what they say about not a good time to go, I went last year when the first money crisis and protests happened and this year Ive been to Egypt right after the protests in Jan! xxxx

Cornwall if your looking for uk ? lovely small beaches near padstow , we went as my mum's down there , and we had lovely weather in the end too

I still havn't taken my older kids abroad, planning to do it next year

Hi we went to south east Spain on a beach holiday in September when my daughter was 4 months old and son had just turned 3. It was fab - not too far on the plane, lovely beaches and really warm without being too hot. We flew to Alicante and we were about an hours drive south of there. Good luck picking somewhere. xx
