Hi,

I am booked in to have both of these done this week (one is tonight!)...do they hurt?! Nervous! x

Hello,

I found the HSG quite uncomfortable, possibly because my tubes were blocked though. It will be ok, nothing to worry about xx

Had the baseline last night and it wasnt too uncomfortable at all, you were right!

It did show that my womb lining was only 4mm though (I am on CD10 of a roughly 32/35 day cycle) so now i am a little worried about that!!! x

I am not sure what the lining should be at that stage, did they say it was something to be concerned about. I didn't find my HSG painful at all. Think you can take a couple of painkillers a little while before going in to help xx

He said that it was thin for my cycle day but if i am having a long cycle then maybe not (I had 46 days last cycle). I dont think he wanted to talk too much about any of it until our follow up consultation to be honest. I stupidly googled it though and have no scraed myself - I really need to stop!!

Glad to hear it wasnt too unfomfortable! :)

But hey - pushing a baby out wont be painless will it so i should really man up! ha ha

xxx

Lol, that's a good way of looking at it ;)

Hopefully its just due to it being a longer cycle, if not then I am sure they will be able to give you something to help xx
