Bit of a pointless thread but just been in Primark on my lunch break and got several bits for my hospital bag. Got 3 nighties, all with buttons at the front (for breastfeeding) only £4.50 each!! Also got a pack of cosy socks, pack of normal socks and some new slippers, £19.00 for the lot! Thought I would recommend in case anyone else is looking for bits :) x x

OOh, that's good to know, i ended up buying expensive pj's from mothercare, we went to get stuff and i came over really dizzy and sick so just grabbed what i needed, wouldn't have coped with going to different shops

Thanks for the tips hunny, always love a bargain :D x x

i bought my nickers and socks from primark for my hospital bag. i hadnt been in for a year. its great, plus for the prices you dont mind how dirty they might get x x

Oh these are things I need, I'll def try Primark now! Everywhere else seems so expensive!

Thanks for the tip, have been wondering where to go to get some nighties with buttons down the front. Primark sounds like a really good idea, there's so much to buy for the baby I don't want to spend too much on myself.

glad to help ladies :) yes I was stuggling to find nighties with buttons down the front that didn't look like something my nanna would have worn lol! They're a bit more fashionable in primark and yes, doesn't matter if they get messy cos for that price you can chuck 'em out after! Also got a long vest type nightie from Tesco, no buttons but can slip the shoulder off easily if needs be. Taking that with me in case the hospital is really hot! x x

I also got a really nice nightshirt with buttons down from Tj Hughes for about £3/£4 if anyone has one near it's worth a go coz there closing down!!!

I went to Primark near me but couldnt finf nighties/slippers, maybe the shop wasnt big enough to stock them?

Great news, I got my nightie in primark when I had Devon, wanted a dark blue or black one incase I got blood on it when sitting up in bed the day of the section, and they had just the thing for a bargain price, with the Bf buttons too.
