Riven has decided he doesn't like sleeping at night..

The last two nights he hasn't slept and is snacking on his bottle. He has been sleeping during the day and i am sure thats why he is up at night, would it be too cruel of me to poke him awake during the day?

He was previously wide awake and then sleeping relatively well at night.

I am sure he is hitting a growth spurt as he is crying quite painfully and it's not anything else like wind as he lets out some belters after feeding, does anyone know if I can give calpol to him, he is 5 1/2 weeks, all Internet research says no but I know he had some in hospital, or should I wait and call the doctor tomorrow.

Cheers ladies xxxx

I personally wouldn't give it him hun. It probably is a growth spurt or something.

He's still very young so they can still get confused between day and night x

I'd just try and bear with it as it'll prob only be a few nights of pain for you

Think I am just whinging if I'm honest....

Thanks for the reply x x

We've all been there hun.

My way of coping is to remember the really good nights and how good it is when they're so small and take the crap nights on the chin

They do get less and less but it's just you forget what they're like til they throw you a curve ball

He could be coming up to his 6 week growth spurt? I know ralph this week has been fussy with bottle and was not sleeping well at all at night but now has settled back to his normal self xx hope you get a good nights sleep tonight xx
