well this weekend i packed my hosp bags and my mum gave me some pad things to lay under sheets on my bed to catch my waters if they go and protect from bleeding after i just had one of them holy shit it really all happening soon moments i still think i dont really believe im gona have a baby soon

it really doesnt feel more than 5 mins since those early scan days i just cant believe how quickly it all gone

Iv only just finished packing my bag!!! Lol. It doesnt even close - AND my toiletery bag is a small bag itself! So iv got 3 bags to take (inc babys) and then my normal handbag with my purse and various other crap in lol!

There gunna think iv moved in!!

oh god uses have all scared me now I havent done mine yet and only 3 wks on wednesday to go I better get sorted this wk. Baby's bag is all done I've never seen so much white cant wait for abit of colour when its here. Only big thing im waiting on is the new orange pram covers for my bugaboo, been ordered for 7 wks and still not in stock said I have to ring back 2morra after the bank holiday to see if they have sorted it if not I could be putting a baby boy (if it comes out a boy) in a pink pram as there whats on it a the min from when it was dolly's lol

I have just packed the babies stuff in its pram bag theres that much you need wouldnt all fit into one, and with my others my mw got the baby dressed wile I got cleaned up so just handing her the babies own bag of stuff was much easyer

I've just finished packing mine. It doesn't really close properly but have managed it. OH still to put a bag with some bits in for him, but that will be a last minute thing really like phone charger and food (for both of us!!), change of pants and towel for him in case he needs a shower etc.

We had the ceremonious laying of the maternity mats under the bed sheet yesterday as well just in case, also put one in my car in case I need one to cover the seat.

All we need now is baby although there is probably something vital I have forgotten!

i been doin some shopping today- things for the bag.. whooo hoooo
i got a bit scared buying them mega pads for bleeding, them together with the disposeble knicks i dont think demba will ever look at me the same again!!
i bought a matressprotector for the cot i plan on putting that on my bed in a few weeks time just incase water breaks in bed!

Can i ask where you got mattress protectors from in case waters break in bed? We have a memory foam mattress and I really don't want all that gunk and fluid seeping into the bed

i bought it on ebay i think it was about £6
its worth it tho i think as we only bought our bed+matress 3 month ago i dont want it ruined.
its small tho as its really for Noas cot im just gonna put it underneith my sheet

i have horrendously bad periods hun and iv found always or tesco nightimes pads are brill iv not got proper maternity bricks im on the always much more comfy sadly i love disposable knickers

i only bought 20 mega pads its mainly for hospital bag but will prob have to buy a few more packs so i will keep that in mind thanks!
